Green financing in subnational governments: How to expand opportunities for nature-based urban solutions

The “nature” of reporting: Corporate disclosure and transition planning - co-organized with TNFD

This two-part event brings together leading organizations, regulators, standards bodies, and reference bodies to present progress and updates since COP15. Session 1, 'Interoperability in corporate reporting', will highlight the growing collaboration, interoperability, and alignment between initiatives. Session 2, 'The rise of nature in transition planning', will launch the TNFD and GFANZ preliminary guidelines on integrating nature into transition planning for public consultation. A cocktail reception will follow.

   

Unlocking funding to enhance biodiversity conservation and sustainable use through a landscape approach

The role of nature in transition plans

Until now, transition plans have been largely climate-focused. However, there is a consensus that this needs to change. This invitation-only roundtable will bring together key stakeholders responsible for frameworks, norms, and guidelines to discuss the role of nature in transition plans and reflect on the need for collaboration and alignment among initiatives.
