No other organization is gathering this type of corporate climate change data and providing it to the marketplace.Ban Ki-moon, Secretary General, United Nations

This side-event at the UN General Assembly, which is co-organized by CDP, will be an opportunity to learn more about the relationship between mining and deforestation, see new research findings on forest-smart mining, and get an overview of the New York Declaration on Forests and its Global Platform. It will highlight examples of forest-smart policies, practices and partnerships and build a shared understanding of what changes, innovations, and new initiatives may be useful to accelerate action.
