As CDP marks its 25th anniversary, it has transitioned to a new integrated questionnaire covering environmental issues including climate change, water security, forests and biodiversity. It has become an important foundation for decision-making in both corporate management and capital markets.

Based on these companies’ responses, this report examines the current state and progress of environmental disclosure among Japanese companies, while highlighting key areas where further action is needed. In addition to the latest disclosure trends, the report provides in-depth expert analysis and practical insights on topics including climate action, supply chain engagement, and efforts towards deforestation and conversion-free practices and water risks.
