CDP Disclosure Cycle 2025: How Our Accredited Solutions Providers Can Support Disclosers

In 2024, nearly 25,000 companies, worth two-thirds of global market capitalization, disclosed through CDP. Of these, over 3,500 disclosed holistically on all three themes (climate change, deforestation and water security) – a significant increase from 2023. More than 12,500 disclosed through CDP’s new SME questionnaire, starting their journey from disclosure to data-driven action in a way more suited to their needs and resources.

With the world’s largest, most comprehensive dataset on corporate environmental action, the insights CDP surfaces empower investors, companies, cities, and national and regional governments to transition to more resilient business models and make Earth-positive decisions. While CDP’s Corporate Health Check shows that only 1 in 10 companies are embedding Earth-positive decision-making throughout their business models, it also uses disclosure data to identify the levers which those on track to meet their targets are pulling: namely, creating a 1.5°C-aligned climate transition plan, putting a price on carbon, engaging across the value chain, and linking executive pay to environmental targets.

CDP’s Accredited Solutions Providers can support organizations with the best practices demonstrated by frontrunner companies in the Health Check findings, to steer them on the path of environmental leadership. As you embark on your CDP disclosure journey in 2025, consider collaborating with an Accredited Solutions Provider.
