As disclosure of sustainability information becomes mandatory, companies are being asked not to disclose what and how, but to use the disclosed data and translate it into practical action.
The CDP questionnaire is consistent with the ISSB's "climate-related disclosure" standard and the TNFD framework, and can reflect a company's current situation and future prospects from a global perspective. In 2024, approximately 2,200 Japanese companies, including over 70% of Prime Market listed companies, responded.
What can we derive from the valuable response data collected here?
With the cooperation of CDP-certified solution providers with expertise in each environmental field, CDP has created an opportunity to analyze CDP responses from multiple perspectives and introduce the current situation and best practices of Japanese companies. We hope that this will serve as a milestone for companies toward greater transparency and enhanced action, and that it will serve as a basis for decision-making toward realizing an earth-positive future for stakeholders, including financial institutions and policymakers.
