As the first financial institution in Asia to join CDP's Corporate Banking Program, Cathay United Bank has been working with CDP since 2023 to promote environmental transparency and help companies strengthen their sustainability capabilities.

Together, they have supported over 200 companies on their disclosure journey, improving access to sustainability data and enabling more informed decision-making for both businesses and the bank.

For Cathay United Bank, environmental disclosure provides valuable insights into clients' sustainability performance and transition readiness, helping the bank better assess risks, identify opportunities, and support the transition to a low-carbon economy.

With CDP data, Cathay United Bank has been able to:
