From Risk to Returns: Future-Proofing Strategies in 2025
Within a rapidly changing world, increasingly shaped by political and economic pressures, the focus on sustainability, a nature-first approach and progressing toward an Earth-positive future may seem harder than ever.

Screening Room 2, Everyman Cinema, 14-18 Handyside Street, London, N1C 4DN

Within a rapidly changing world, increasingly shaped by political and economic pressures, the focus on sustainability, a nature-first approach and progressing toward an Earth-positive future may seem harder than ever. Whilst the challenge remains as pressing, the amount of “noise” which must be cut through to maintain this vital focus has increased significantly.
It is against this backdrop, and as part of the London Climate Action Week, CDP wish to hold a convening event considering practical ways to maintain a focus on the placing a focus on sustainability at the centre of their business operations and overall strategy. Specifically, the event will aim to:
Outline how to continue environmental initiatives, despite external pressures
Explore how to shift language and framing around sustainability in a changing political / corporate environment, whilst not losing sight of the sustainability “big picture”
Uncover and share knowledge on how organizations are measuring and communicating the financial costs of inaction on climate risks
Share practical best practice on quantifying the financial upside of environmental initiatives when making key decisions and supporting transition plans
Delve into specific data points which can demonstrate the sustainability business case
Agenda
The full-day program will run from 16:00 to 19:00, closing with networking drinks. Timing and agenda subject to change. More details including a final speaker faculty will be revealed in the coming weeks.
