The report provides a comprehensive analysis of corporate performance across climate change, water security, energy, plastics, and biodiversity, highlighting both progress and remaining challenges in Korea’s sustainability transition.
Findings show strong corporate engagement in climate governance, risk management, and emissions disclosure, with growing adoption of net-zero targets, climate transition plans, and renewable energy procurement. At the same time, the report identifies significant opportunities to strengthen Scope 3 emissions management, biodiversity risk assessment, water stewardship, and plastics circularity.
The report also recognizes Korea’s environmental leaders and showcases best practices driving resilience and competitiveness in a rapidly evolving sustainability landscape.
