CDP Awards Japan 2024
Under the shared global goals of net zero and nature positive, all actors, including companies, financial institutions, local governments, and national governments, are accelerating their actions. In order to achieve these goals, it is necessary to monitor progress and take action. Information disclosure is the foundation for this, and a means of communication for collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
The CDP Awards Japan 2024 will invite top executives from both the private and public sectors. Based on CDP 2023 information disclosure, we will highlight companies and local governments that are demonstrating leadership in the environmental field. As environmental information disclosure becomes increasingly mandatory, we will reaffirm the significance and importance of information disclosure and focus on what information disclosure should be like that leads to practical action.
We hope that this will be an opportunity for everyone to think together about how Japan as a whole can take the lead on the world in solving climate change and environmental issues.
