CDP is looking for a motivated, talented and passionate Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Team based in our London headquarters. The successful candidate will be driven by the pursuit of answering difficult environmental questions with robust data analysis and will support both internal and external stakeholders in deriving maximum value from these data and findings. A prerequisite is ensuring the highest data quality; the position holder will define and implement methods for systematically and meticulously reviewing data quality and testing outputs. S/he is knowledgeable of GHG emissions accounting, especially as pertains to sub-national actors, and has insights into the types of data and analyses that will facilitate the low-carbon transition. The Senior Data Analyst will be equipped with the know-how necessary to enhance data structures, develop value-adding analyses, create and employ modelling techniques, and stream-line useful dissemination, including but not limited to data visualizations.
About CDP’s Data Team
The Data Team is part of the wider Impact & Insights team. Its primary remit is to improve the usability of the corporate climate change, water security and forests data and cities, states & regions data disclosed to CDP by developing and applying robust and transparent methods for data cleaning and modelling. It supplements this work with harmonized data collected from external sources and seeks to enhance accessibility for CDP’s stakeholders. Additional to this, the team produces value-adding analyses that help internal and external stakeholders better understand these vital environmental data, and make better decisions from them.

This is a full-time role based at CDP’s Central London office.
Salary and benefits:
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per annum (depending on experience), fixed-term contract of 24 months with the possibility to extension based on the availability of funding.
Annual discretionary bonus, 24 days’ holiday (increasing to 30), generous non-contributory pension provision, life assurance and others.
