CDP is seeking two highly motivated, flexible technical officers who thrive in a fast paced, varied and autonomous environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join the scoring team as CDP seeks to make its questionnaires and scoring more relevant and impactful, by transitioning to sector-specific questionnaires and assessments. The scoring team assesses the disclosure of thousands of companies in order to generate a score that is a snapshot of a company’s performance in one of 3 environmental themes: Climate change, Water and Forests.
The successful candidates will join the scoring team and be involved in all aspects of the team’s work, including; contributing to the development of the scoring methodologies; training scoring partners and CDP staff; running the annual scoring process, which includes updating the relevant IT tools; and publishing the scores. All aspects of the work must be delivered to tight timelines. The scoring team’s success depends on good stakeholder management and an important component of both following - and improving - agreed upon processes.
Over the next 2 years the work will focus on developing benchmarking and assessment methodologies to score the new sector questionnaires we will be creating. The successful candidates will be part of the Technical Team, which supports the development of questionnaires, scoring methodologies and guidance for companies reporting environmental information to investors and customers. You will report to the Associate Director of Scoring.
CDP’s Reimagining Disclosure programme is an ambitious programme of change over the next 3 years with the development of sector specific questionnaires and assessments, and a new disclosure IT platform to collect nearly 10,000 business responses to questions on climate, water and deforestation, as well as on their supply chains. You will be helping to deliver this evolution.
