Companies that are taking action already report stronger financial performance as well as a better ability to manage risks and re-act to regulatory controls. After successful negotiations in Paris in 2015, companies and investors have a clear policy signal from governments around the world that now is the time. CDP, as part of the We Mean Business campaign, provides the central platform for businesses to follow this lead towards a sustainable future.
CDP's spring workshops mark the beginning of annual CDP Climate, Water and Forest reporting period with the aim to make the disclosure process as easy as possible for companies and to deepen the knowledge on natural capital disclosure. The events will provide hands-on assistance in responding to the CDP 2017 questionnaires. Participants will be encouraged to share ideas, ask questions and take part in break-out sessions with experts in various aspects of disclosure. There will be parallel sessions aimed to benefit both new and seasoned responders.
