CDP is seeking an energetic and organised technical manager who can combine great people leadership and team building skills with a good eye for detail and the ability to get things done. You will be a strong team player, committed to the overall success of the organisation. You will be able to support and motivate your team through change and drive continuous improvement and process efficiency. You will value good customer service and be able to manage your time effectively to deliver. You will be IT literate and ideally have a background in customer and technical support. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and JIRA will be ideal. Language skills will be an advantage, particularly Japanese, Chinese or Portuguese.
Job purpose and background:
You will work closely with both the Associate Director of Disclosure Operations and the Head of Disclosure Operations to ensure that CDP’s core disclosure business service runs smoothly. The disclosure service delivers the management and support of nearly 7,000 businesses, cities, states and regions who report annually to CDP on their environmental impacts, strategies and actions. You will take responsibility for delivery of a suite of the business processes administered by the team, with the aim of creating the highest level of efficiency possible. You will challenge the status quo and always strive for a better way to get things done. You will assist with documenting and evaluating processes and redesigning where appropriate. You will help embed a customer service focus and continuous improvement ethos in the team and more widely across CDP. You will develop your team members and ensure they have clear objectives and a good work-life balance.
