In February, we launched our 2020 Global Supply Chain Report, ‘Transparency to Transformation: A Chain Reaction.’ Our report showed that demand for transparency and disclosure is higher than ever in supply chains, with over 150 CDP companies requesting 15,637 suppliers to disclose their environmental data. Suppliers disclosing through CDP reported savings of US$33.7 billion and 619 million tons of emissions reductions. While these numbers are encouraging, progress is not yet being cascaded through the supply chain.
As we reflect on these findings and gear up towards the start of CDP’s 2021 disclosure cycle, we wanted to remind you that our accredited solutions provider network is here to help you set and achieve your sustainability goals. CDP partners with expert environmental service providers who can support companies through every stage from ambition to strategy to action and are delighted to announce that we have recently welcomed several new partners on board.
