From cooling and heating to transport and agricultural products, water is vital to every industry – even in ways that may not be apparent. Increasingly companies are realizing their exposure to water risks through their supply chains. With data from 3,163 companies disclosing through CDP in 2023, this report highlights why companies across all sectors and geographies need to assess, engage and cascade change throughout their value chain.

- 1 in 5 companies report supply chain water risks which could have a significant impact on their business
- Companies integrating suppliers into risk assessments are 7x more likely to report supply chain risks
