  • Manage relationships with CDP colleagues and with external stakeholders, particularly those involved in the Climate Pact Secretariat;
  • Lead the design, architecture and harmonisation of the pledge and monitoring, reporting and verification systems, to meet the deliverables of the Climate Pact Secretariat;
  • Support the European Climate Pact engagement process with citizens, businesses, governments and others to make pledges that meet the KPIs of the Climate Pact Secretariat;
  • Develop an excellent knowledge of CDP’s work and liaise with colleagues to deliver on CDP’s organisational goals.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum BA/BSc degree or similar work experience, masters preferred;

  • Technical proficiency and demonstrable track record in leading the design and technical delivery of data management systems and processes;
  • Experience driving engagement with local and regional governments; national governments, NGOs, foundations or companies is an advantage;
  • Strong personal drive, demonstrable ability to take initiative, multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure;
  • Organised and methodical approach to plan and deliver against a varied workload, managing competing priorities under your own initiative and to strict deadlines;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; ability to explain complex or challenging topics clearly and succinctly;
  • At ease in stakeholder-facing situations, excellent sense for interpersonal contact, and confidence in interacting with high-level representatives from public and private sectors, using determination and diplomacy;
  • A general understanding and interest in the issues of climate change at the European, local and business levels;
  • Attention to detail with good writing and numeracy skills, with proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
  • Relevant skills, qualifications and experience in data management, ecosystem management and IT, Power Bi skills are an advantage;
  • Proficiency in English; further European languages are a strong advantage.
