Disclosure Systems Manager

Job purpose/summary

The core business operation of CDP is using data on climate, water and forest sustainability disclosed by companies, organisations, cities, states and regions globally to drive awareness and action to improve the way society impacts the environment. Therefore, high quality, timely, innovative and agile technology capabilities are a priority of the of the Executive Leadership Team of CDP.

The Disclosure Systems Manager helps deliver technology which enables the customer journey and business process of collecting our customers data and ensuring it is scored. They are responsible for delivering the systems and processes in the disclosure domain which maximise business value, meet customer expectations and operationally deliver. The role will work closely with IT Operations and Disclosure Operations teams to ensure successful delivery for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Support the effective delivery of key segments of CDP’s core disclosure processes from questionnaire to scoring.
• Manage the servicedesk for the disclosure domain including incident & problem management to ensure high quality resolutions met within SLA. Engage, manage and communicate with stakeholders effectively if issues affect their areas.
• Manage the operational relationship with a key disclosure system supplier including reporting and change management.
• Work with Disclosure teams to ensure that the disclosure systems and processes launch and close on time and meet quality and customer service standards.
• Represent Disclosure Systems in relevant working groups and process meetings helping to establish strong relationships within and beyond Technology
• Support the Disclosure Systems Senior Manager with reporting and with other duties where necessary
• In collaboration with the Disclosure Operations and Stakeholder teams, ensure CDP’s helpdesk, website and dashboards for responding disclosers are delivering effective and high-standard support.
• Support the delivery of training and documentation of the key business processes and systems for the disclosure cycle across CDP.
• Review, develop and document disclosure processes, involving the wider CDP teams as appropriate
• Responsible for the user journeys, customer experience and business requirements needed to deliver customer and business outcomes in the Disclosure domain. Understand the Disclosure systems backlog and identify areas for improvement.
• Support changes and improvements to technology working with internal or external delivery teams
• Prepare and execute testing of CDP’s processes and disclosure systems.
• Work with the Disclosure teams to assist them to utilise and optimise technology capabilities to deliver their business outcomes
• The precise description and nature of your job may be varied from time to time, and you may be required to carry out other duties as necessary to meet business needs.

Required skills and experience

• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in related business operations, transformation or IT delivery
• Ability to translate internal and external customer needs into business requirements
• Experience of managing stakeholder relationships with internal customers
• Working collaboratively with internal and external suppliers to delivery outcomes
• Comfortable in interacting with management
• Committed, personable and team player
• Excellent writing, verbal and presentation skills in English

Desired skills and experience

• Knowledge of questionnaire and survey methodologies and technology
• Expertise in Customer Relationship systems and processes
• Previous experience within a Business Relationship Management role
• Experience of having worked within a Business Analyst role
• Knowledge and experience of ITIL operations
• Exposure in Climate Change data legislation, practices and stakeholders.
• Experience in Environmental related industries i.e. Water, Energy, Forestry related.

Benefits

This permanent role will be based in the CDP London office and reports directly to the Senior Manager Disclosure Systems in the Disclosure Systems team.

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000, annual discretionary bonus, 30 days holiday, generous non-contributory pension provision after 3 months employment (pro-rated to term of contract).
