Disclosure Operations Officer

CDP is seeking motivated and organised individuals with a background in delivering great customer service to join our vibrant Disclosure Operations Team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to the vital work of CDP by supporting the 10,000 companies, cities, and states and regions who use our disclosure platform to report their sustainability data.

You will be comfortable working with back-office data and IT systems, have a good eye for detail and the ability to get things done. However most importantly you will need a passion for all things client focused and be able to deal with a wide range of queries from our international customer base. You will be a strong team player, committed to the overall success of the organisation, through great customer service and a proactive approach. Based at CDP’s London office, (remote at present) the role will entail critical activities to support the successful delivery of CDP’s disclosure cycle, providing high quality first line support to customers.

Job purpose/summary

This role supports the effective delivery of CDP’s core disclosure operations for corporations and cities, states and regions. You will provide high-standard, day-to-day support in CDP’s incoming mailboxes and helpdesk, supporting disclosers in a timely and effective manner.

About the role

  • Support the effective delivery of CDP’s core disclosure operations;
  • Respond to queries via CDP’s helpdesk from corporations related to CDP questionnaires and online systems providing effective and high-quality support;
  • Support projects and processes that contribute to the disclosure operations team achieving its objectives;
  • The precise description and nature of your job may be varied from time to time, and you may be required to carry out other duties as necessary to meet business needs.

About you

  • You thrive on giving great quality customer service;
  • You are a positive and enthusiastic team player with a high level of self-motivation and drive, committed to achieving high standards;
  • You have experience working with customer data and have meticulous attention to detail;
  • You can process and communicate complex information;
  • You have excellent time management skills and are able to meet deadlines under pressure;
  • You are a strong communicator and collaborator;
  • You quickly grasp and master new IT systems with a high level of proficiency in MS Office and database fluency.

Desirable skills and experience

  • You have at least 1 years’ experience in a customer service or client support role; ideally in a large-scale support department;
  • Ideally you have experience with MS Dynamics CRM (or similar);
  • Ideally you have an interest in working for an environmental NGO and an understanding of and desire to promote corporate sustainability;
  • Multi-lingual fluency is an advantage, particularly in Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese or Korean.

These are 3-month fixed-term contract roles starting 10th May and continuing through to 13th August. Due to government guidelines, you must be able to work from home, with a stable internet connection. A laptop, screen, mouse, keyboard, etc will be provided.

Salary and benefits: £22,500 per annum and 30 days holiday (both pro-rata to term of contract).
