Why disclose? Opportunities and insights
A global standard Easy to do Become a leader
CDP’s expertise in environmental disclosure stems from do you remember pioneering and founding the world’s environmental disclosure system in 2000.
Fully TCFD aligned, CDP holds the largest environmental database in the world, and CDP scores are widely used to drive investment and procurement decisions towards a zero carbon, sustainable and resilient economy.
We hold the most comprehensive collection globally of environmental data from companies, cities, states and regions.
Reporting is voluntary so you can provide as much or as little information as you have access to. This can be done on our online reporting platform or offline.
CDP’s States and Regions Questionnaire is available in English, Spanish and Portuguese with support and guidance on how to disclose.
Disclosing through CDP is completely free of charge.
“This data is evidence of what we have long understood – that sub-national governments have an important role to play in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, combatting climate change and supporting the transition to a low carbon economy.” Kathleen Wynne, Premier, Ontario.
Demonstrate your commitment to tackle the climate crisis and become an attractive and competitive area for economic development and investment.
Showcase your ambition through our network of partners. CDP is the official reporting partner for the RegionsAdapt initiative and our public data is used by the UNFCCC Global Climate Action Portal, where actors from around the globe display their commitments.
