CDP’s supply chain members are working to keep our global supply chains in good health by insisting on adequate disclosure. With that disclosure comes better awareness, goal setting and innovation.
We welcome government members who want to leverage the power of public procurement to drive action on climate change. Members of the program now include the United States General Services Agency [GSA], the United States Navy and the State of California. The US military is the world’s largest single consumer of fossil fuels, with the Navy and Marines representing a third of that use.

Increase disclosure in your country
The governments of Italy, Spain and Portugal have each signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) agreeing to ask all their city governments to disclose to CDP. Disclosure helps cities see the risks and opportunities of climate change for its citizens and business communities.
A high proportion of cities in these countries are now reporting. This provides national governments with invaluable climate data to that will help driving change on the ground.
