This year, 13,000 companies, representing 64% of global market capitalisation, disclosed their environmental data to CDP. This is a record number of new disclosers and represents a 35% increase in corporate disclosure since 2020 and a 141% increase since 2015 when the Paris Agreement was signed. Thank you to all that responded to the request of your investors and customers, and for the time, effort and resources you have invested in your 2021 CDP disclosure. It is important that we keep up this momentum as we look forward to the next few critical years in the journey to Net Zero and slowing global warming to 1.5 degrees. We recently launched our 2021–2025 strategy which sets out how we will respond to catastrophic climate change, and an irreversible loss of nature and habitats. We will widen our scope to cover more environmental issues, and increase our focus on targets, plans, and performance against them. CDP will be asking companies, cities, states and regions to set ambitious environmental targets and take bold, transformative action to achieve them. Our accredited solutions providers offer a wide range of services and sector expertise that can support you to do just that.
