HR Advisor

Location: Berlin, Germany

Due to the continuous, strong growth of our organisation we are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join CDP Europe’s Finance, HR & Administration team.

About the role: You will be a key member of CDP Europe’s Finance and HR team, looking for ways to apply your experience to ensure improving and developing all HR related processes. This position is an exciting opportunity for a professional to take over handling of HR Operational and strategic tasks, in a smooth and efficient co-operation with the existing Finance, HR & Administration team members.

The role includes:

  • Monthly payroll administration and contact person for payroll-related questions;
  • Maintain the company pension activities;
  • Create and update CDP Europe’s policies, HR guidelines, core processes and standards;
  • Support the organization in all decision-making processes by providing the appropriate information, reports and analysis;
  • Promote the continuous further development of the general HR strategy by contributing meaningful ideas and measures;
  • Perform processes in compliance with the local regulations; participate and interact with local authorities;
  • Inform, counsel and provide support to employees and managers;
  • Support the Management Team during the personnel cost planning, training & development, and forecasting process;
  • Assisting with ad-hoc tasks as required.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Successful completed education or university degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology or comparable;
  • 3+ years professional HR experience ideally in an international environment with solid knowledge in general HR and payroll processes;
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to identify problems as well as to drive appropriate solutions;
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel;
  • Positive mindset and a hands-on and ‘can do’ attitude;
  • Detail-oriented attitude, combined with a structured and analytical working style;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with teams in a multi-national setting;
  • Very good command of spoken and written German and English;
  • Maintain confidentiality, diplomacy, and tact at all times;
  • Strong prioritisation and time management skills;
  • Excellent team player, good organizational and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will work five days per week and must be able to work legally in Germany. This full-time role is based at our office in Berlin, Germany, and will work closely with the Finance, HR & Administration team and report to Director Finance & Administration, Europe.
