We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Communications Manager to work on the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), with a particular focus on its Business Ambition for 1.5°C campaign. This role sits in our communications team, based in CDP’s London headquarters.

Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager for the SBTi, the ideal candidate will be a results-oriented communications professional with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a global, cross-partner team.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced communications professional looking to take their next step and join a dynamic and fast-growing charity, working on one of its flagship projects. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the global, cross-partner communications team of the SBTi, which is a collaboration between CDP, the UN Global Compact, WRI and WWF.

About the Science Based Targets initiative

The Science Based Targets initiative mobilizes companies to set science-based targets and boost their competitive advantage in the transition to the low-carbon economy. It is a collaboration between CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and one of the We Mean Business Coalition commitments. The initiative defines and promotes best practice in science-based target setting, offers resources and guidance to reduce barriers to adoption, and independently assesses and approves companies’ targets. www.sciencebasedtargets.org @sciencetargets
