  • Roll-out detail-tailored communication on the newly developed high-level organisational strategies and programmes
Take ownership of the recently-introduced, internal communication tool, Microsoft Teams and ‘ways of working programme’ ensuring the related guidance and processes are well-understood and embedded
  • Continue the SharePoint 365 project to ensure all team sites (team intranets) are consistent and kept up-to-date
  • Develop the home intranet landing page and liaise with other team and region representatives to ensure it is maintained
  • Use the internal communication tool and intranet platform to drive staff engagement
  • Continue to build, train and support the organisation with the internal communications function.
  • Edit internal communications from senior managers and the executive leadership team
  • Ensure ongoing alignment with external communications, by developing a strong working relationship with global colleagues in the external communications and marketing team.

Person specification

  • Degree qualified or equivalent level of experience
  • A year’s experience in a communications role from any sector
  • Proven ability to write clear content around complex concepts
  • Fantastic English communication skills, written and spoken
  • Self-starter with the confidence to build relationships at different levels of the organisation
  • Excellent face to face and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience of project management or managing elements of a project is desirable
  • Sensitivity to cultural differences and ability to communicate with international teams
  • Organised and methodical approach to plan and deliver against a varied workload, managing competing priorities under your own initiative and to strict deadlines.

Conditions
This is a full-time, permanent role, CDP’s Central London office reporting to CDP’s Global HR & People Development Director.

Salary and benefits: Salary starting at £22,000-£25,000 per annum dependent on experience, annual discretionary bonus, 30 days’ holiday, generous non-contributory pension provision, life assurance, training and development opportunities, Central London office location and other benefits.
