Building Back Greener: India Inc. Demonstrates Climate Resilience
India Annual Report 2020
A growing number of Indian companies are beginning to recognise the climate crisis and are committing to tackle climate change by disclosing data through CDP - the first step towards achieving corporate climate goals. Disclosing helps a company get ahead of the curve and prepare for potential market fluctuations and policy and regulatory changes in the future.
60 of the Top 200 Indian companies on the BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) were among the 220 that disclosed through CDP in 2020. It is time for others to ramp up their environmental ambitions – if they want to survive and remain competitive in the global race to net zero.
