This salon will explore **what a new model of rainforest protection could look like**, moving beyond traditional conservation approaches toward ones that recognize forests and forest communities as critical to a changing climate. 

The conversation will **bring together perspectives from Indigenous and local leadership, philanthropy, technology and finance** to consider how we can invest in the people, systems and innovations that enable forests to continue doing what the planet needs them to do.

Rather than prescribing a single model, the session will invite participants to help shape the question: **what should the next generation of climate funding look like, and how will we build it?**
