Businesses, financial institutions, and governments increasingly recognize nature as a strategic issue for risk management, systemic resilience, and long-term value creation. Now, the challenge is turning assessment into ambition and implementation. 

This closed-door panel discussion session as part of COP17 will explore how nature can be embedded into transition planning, how science-based targets for nature can help drive action, and how finance and coordinated multistakeholder action can drive progress at scale.

Through expert insights, a fireside discussion, and audience Q&A, participants will explore practical pathways, and for accelerating nature-positive transitions. The event will also mark the launch of the Science-based Targets Network’s Finance Sector Engagement Program in collaboration with WWF and CDP.
