What is NAZCA?
The Non-state Actor Zone for Climate Action (NAZCA) is an online portal hosted by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). It highlights actions that cities, companies, investors, and regions – non-state actors – are taking to address climate change. Showing non-state climate ambition provides momentum to the climate talks and helps give governments the confidence to sign ambitious agreements at the Paris climate negotiations (COP 21).

Drawing on vital information reported through the only global environmental disclosure system, CDP provides data for the NAZCA portal. Through our disclosure platform, we work to transform the way the world does business and prevent dangerous climate change by using measurement, transparency, and accountability to drive positive changes in business, investment, and policy.
