CDP’s Data Analytics Team are looking for a skilled, experienced, and ambitious senior data analyst who is passionate to use data to drive companies, investors, and governments to build a thriving economy which works for people and planet.
You will be a Senior analytical lead in the Data Analytics team and have line management responsibility for one Data Analyst. You will also be a principal team member, delivering and developing high-value impactful analytics and insight. These analytics will secure reliable revenue streams for CDP whilst catalyzing the reallocation of investor capital for the green global economic transition. You will be able to leverage your knowledge and experience to put CDP at the forefront of Analytics and insight research for the economic transition to a well-below 2°C future.
You will maintain detailed data rich bottom-up models of 7+ high impact sectors of the economy built on physical asset-level data. These models will enable accurate, time-series estimates of direct, indirect (Scope 1-2) and value-chain (Scope 3) corporate GHG emissions and energy demand at multiple levels of sectoral and geographical granularity.
You will be able to support statistical estimation approaches employed by the wider Data Analytics team, peer review those methods, and take a key role in the evolution of the general modelling framework and its integration with your bottom-up models and methods.
You will also support the Data Analytic team across other key areas of work they deliver. Leading on data set delivery, report creation, data visualization, analytical projects, and data product delivery. A data analytical all rounder with drive and enthusiasm to get stuck into a multitude of delivery areas.

This is a permanent, full time role based at CDP’s London office, reporting to the Head of Data.
Salary and benefits: Between £40,000 to £42,000 per annum depending on experience.30 days holiday excluding bank holidays.
