CDP Taiwan 2023 Disclosure Kickoff Webinar (in Mandarin)
Co-hosted by CDP and BCSD Taiwan, sponsored by Acer Inc., this year’s workshop focused on the interconnectedness of climate issues and nature, a critical message from the IPCC 6th Assessment Report. Following global trends, the role of environmental disclosure has reached a major turning point, from voluntary participation to mandatory regulation, and from improving information transparency to an important basis for tracking corporate responsibility. The workshop put emphasis on how environmental disclosure is expanding from climate issues to nature and value chains, the interconnectedness of water and biodiversity in nature, questionnaire changes and development, and concluded with guidance for Taiwanese companies in the face of the more complex and multidimensional transformation.
