**Deforestation-free supply chains are essential to business resilience, credible climate action and risk management. **These insights draw on 2025 CDP disclosure data to show that more companies are assessing and reporting progress towards deforestation- and conversion-free commodity supply chains.

A meaningful transition to deforestation-free business models is underway. Disclosure is rising, and more companies are demonstrating that credible monitoring, verification and transparency can support more resilient business models.

But gaps remain, with varying progress across commodities, and too few businesses connecting action on deforestation with land-related emissions targets. With 2025 deforestation commitments now due, companies face growing scrutiny from investors, customers and regulators. High-quality disclosure is critical to identify gaps, manage risk and accelerate the transition to transparent, resilient supply chains.
