The collaboration aims to strengthen the use of corporate nature-related disclosure data. Through this collaboration, nature-related information disclosed by companies through CDP will be utilized to: - provide insights to inform policymaking; - support stakeholder engagement and dialogue; and - monitor and assess progress toward domestic and international nature-positive goals. Halting biodiversity loss and restoring nature requires governments, businesses, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to take coordinated action toward shared goals while monitoring progress. Transparent corporate environmental disclosure provides a critical foundation for these efforts. CDP's nature-related disclosure data not only provides visibility into companies' actions and challenges, but also offers information aligned with the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) framework. These data can support policy development, stakeholder dialogue, and the monitoring of progress toward a nature-positive transition.
