To make a verified and credible climate claim, CNG offers the global Climate Neutral Certification Standard developed under ISEAL’s Code of Good Practice. In October 2021, we have been approved as a Community Member of ISEAL, the global organisation that brings leading sustainability standards together. ISEAL community membership is a strong indicator that we are committed to continually improving our system’s impact and that we’re transparent about how we measure this.

Unique about our climate neutral standard is that clients are required to gradually reduce their own emissions towards Absolute zero and offset the remains. As their mandatory reduction target increases every year, the remaining part to compensate will gradually decrease. To guarantee the quality, businesses that adopt the programme are audited by independent Certification Bodies - Ecocert and Preferred by Nature. When all criteria in the programme are met, organisations can communicate in a credible, objective and transparent manner on their efforts, allowing their customers to make climate-conscious choices.
