As CDP marks its 25th anniversary, it has transitioned to a new integrated questionnaire covering environmental issues including climate change, water security, forests and biodiversity. Environmental disclosure is no longer an initiative limited to a small group of leading companies. It has become an important foundation for decision-making in both corporate management and capital markets.

Based on these companies’ responses, this report examines the **current state and progress of environmental disclosure among Japanese companies**, while highlighting key areas where further action is needed. In addition to the latest disclosure trends, the report provides in-depth expert analysis and practical insights on topics including climate action, supply chain engagement, and efforts towards deforestation and conversion-free practices and water risks.
