CDP Europe, one of the world’s leading climate change NGOs, is looking for a motivated and self-driven working student who wants to take this learning opportunity in an international organization based in Berlin. As a working student, you will directly assist the Administrative Support Officer, and the HR Assistant in their daily business operations. The role is based on a working frame of 16 to 32 hours per month (€11,00-€13,00/hour) on a flexible schedule to fit with university classes. The role sits within the Finance & Administration department in Berlin and reports to the Administrative Support Officer.

Key responsibilities include:

  • You will be the first point of contact for all our employees for the IT related queries;
  • Support the HR and Admin team in preparing the laptops and other IT related problems;
  • Update and maintain IT Inventory list, and produce report to the Administrative Support Officer;
  • Work closely together with the HR, Finance and Admin team to proactively assist with essential day to day business support;
  • General organising/filing.

Desired Experience Background:

  • You are currently enrolled as a university student, ideally studying Bachelors in IT management or similar subject;
  • Similar experience from previous internships or working student jobs is a plus (but not a condition);
  • Knowledge of business software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook);
  • Familiarity with and interest in desktop computer systems, desktop backup, and disaster recovery systems etc;
  • Understanding of computer peripheral architecture and configurations (printers, scanners, cameras, I/O devices, communicator and others);
  • Ability to take initiative, multi-task, proactive, well-structured and detail-oriented task approach;
  • Excellent Communication skills: Fluency in English (verbal & written).

The successful candidate must be enrolled at German university and be able to work legally in Germany. The successful candidate will report to the Administrative Support Officer, CDP Europe.
