Job purpose and background:
CDP is seeking a highly motivated individual to support the development and core operational workstreams in its Technical Reporting team. This involves project management, trend analysis and questionnaire development.
The successful candidate will help to shape CDP’s forests questionnaire and guidance, gaining understanding of current deforestation trends and best practices in corporate forest stewardship with a focus on palm oil (primarily) and timber (secondarily). The role requires the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, particularly with CDP’s forests, supply chain and scoring teams, in a fast-paced, varied environment, to analyze complex data and to think critically and innovatively.
The role will be based in any CDP office and reports directly to the Technical Manager for forests in the Technical Reporting team. It will be a fixed term contract of 12 months with the potential to extend based on future funding.
Salary range: £30,000-35,000 per annum dependent on experience
About CDP’s Technical Reporting team:
The Reporting team provides a critical contribution to CDP’s mission. We develop CDP’s world leading questionnaires and guidance for organizations reporting environmental information to investors and other data users. This team ensures that the questionnaires push companies beyond business as usual, catalysing change of their environmental performance. We aim to balance completeness, transparency and quality of data disclosed with the practicality and resources required by companies to collect and report on this data within their own operations and throughout their value chain.
