Support Officer, CSC Products & Services

Job purpose and background:

CDP is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Corporations and Supply Chains (CSC) Products and Services team in London. CDP works to create a thriving economy that works for both people and planet and the CSC department works with thousands of companies globally to mitigate climate change, improve water security and tackle deforestation.

The CSC department consists of 70+ people, and the teams that make up this department are responsible for facilitating the company journey for thousands of companies globally from their first response to making bold environmental commitments and beyond, providing in depth tailored support for our Reporter Services Members and working closely with CDP’s Supply Chain Members to help them gather and process environmental data from their suppliers in order to drive action in their supply chains.

CSC Products & Services team is part of the newly established Customer Experience function and is responsible for the successful delivery of the products and services available to our corporate stakeholders. In this role you will work closely with global teams across the organisation, and directly support the Senior Manager to achieve their objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining departmental records of the product and services catalogue and the timeline and workplan for delivery.
  • Supporting Senior Manager with operational delivery and quality/accuracy of corporate stakeholder products and services including but not limited to: Members data analytics, members dashboards, discloser/authority system set up, members benchmarking products, company journey tools, and CRM.
  • Working with Senior Manager and CSC and Technology colleagues on design, user experience, user journey and user acceptance testing of products and services
  • Supporting Senior Manager on data security regarding products and services
  • Working with Customer Experience and Program teams to gather and analyse customer feedback on products and services, and work on improvements.
  • Supporting the Product & Services teams work with other teams and departments, especially the Disclosure Operations, Technical, to facilitate a smooth annual reporting cycle for companies reporting through the CDP platform.
  • Supporting the Senior Manager in coordinating tasks on behalf of the team, such as organising meetings with global program teams.
  • Responsibility for ad hoc projects as required by line-manager such as analysis of key product feedback to identify, fix and improve quality.

The precise description and nature of your job may be varied from time to time and you may be required to carry out other duties as necessary to meet business needs.

Required skills and experience:

  • Ability to work independently, with strong attention to detail.
  • Keen interest in corporate sustainability and related company challenges.
  • Ability to work with global colleagues and develop strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Familiarity and experience working with sustainability products and services.
  • Experience working on data analysis and managing large volumes of data in excel
  • Degree educated or equivalent (Environment/Sustainability- related degree desirable)
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role, working in NGOs and/or commercial organisations (Desirable)
  • Experience of working in a global organisation (Desirable)
  • Additional language skills (Desirable)

This is a full-time role based at CDP’s Central London office reporting to the Senior Manager, CSC Products and Services.

Salary and benefits: £23,000 - £25,000, per annum, 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, generous non-contributory pension provision, annual discretionary bonus (depending on company performance), Employee Assistance Programme, life assurance, Training and development, Flexible working opportunities and other benefits.
