The CDSB Secretariat is looking for an ambitious Stakeholder Engagement Manager to help build relationships with key policymakers and other stakeholders in its priority jurisdictions globally.
The Climate Disclosure Standards Board (CDSB) works to create the enabling conditions for companies to disclose high-quality environmental information to their investors, thereby influencing their decisions and contributing to financially resilient capital markets worldwide.
As a Stakeholder Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for driving CDSB’s engagement in a range of countries globally, engaging with Government departments, business and industry associations, as well as other stakeholders in sustainable finance. CDSB’s engagement strategy is to improve environmental reporting in corporate annual reports by understanding the local ecosystem and engaging all relevant stakeholders. Your countries of focus may include the USA, UK, EU Member States, Japan, Canada, India, Brazil, Mexico and others. The successful candidate will have experience in influencing both policy and other stakeholders, with an understanding of sustainable finance and ESG reporting.
CDSB is an international award-winning initiative and this position in the global Secretariat provides the successful candidate with an exciting opportunity to gain experience and make your mark on the sustainable finance, helping to ensure the crucial interface between financial and non-financial information related to climate and the environment.
CDP hosts the CDSB Secretariat, and the role will be based in CDP’s London offices (with current working from home policy in place due to COVID-19) and will report to the Policy & External Affairs Director in Berlin.
