Job Purpose and Background

We are looking to recruit a SQL Data Engineer who will be responsible for delivering data engineering and reporting solutions to meet business requirements. Working as part of the Data & Insight team, you will report to the Head of Data Engineering. You will work closely with the working group of CDP colleagues who will use the data warehouse and BI systems.
You will be primarily working on a number of advanced T-SQL scripts, of which some are delivered through SSRS reports fed from packages built in SSIS. At a later stage this process will be replaced with among others Azure Data Factory and PowerBI. You need to ensure the requirements are understood correctly by yourself and there will be a contact from the stakeholder team ready to answer any of your queries.

This is a 3-month contract, reporting to the Head of Data Engineering.
The successful candidate will work five days per week and must be able to work legally in Germany. This full-time role is based at our office in Berlin, Germany, and will work closely with the Corporate Operations team and related roles in other teams, and report to the Associate Director Corporate Operations.
