Job Purpose and Background
CDP is seeking a highly motivated, flexible individual who thrives in a fast paced, varied and autonomous environment. This is an exciting opportunity to help deliver climate change-related questionnaires and reporting guidance for financial services sector (such as banking, insurance, asset owners and asset management). You will co-ordinate this work with our scoring and data teams as well as other stakeholders within and outside CDP. The role requires the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, to analyse complex data and to think critically and innovatively. You will be part of the Technical Team, which leads the development of questionnaires, scoring methodologies and guidance for companies reporting environmental information to investors and customers. You will report to the Senior Technical Manager for Financial Services.
This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your GHG accounting and environmental reporting knowledge and to develop analytical, technical writing and project management skills. You will have the opportunity to make an impact globally on how companies in the financial services sector respond to the key environmental challenges of climate change, water and deforestation.

This is a full-time role based at CDP’s Central London office reporting to the Senior Technical Manager for Financial Services. The successful candidate will be provided with a contract for a fixed term of 10 months, with the potential to extend, subject to further funding.
Salary and benefits: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum, annual discretionary bonus, 24 days’ holiday (increasing to 30), generous non-contributory pension provision, life assurance and others.
