Job purpose and background
Are you passionate about city climate action? CDP has an exciting opportunity for an individual with proven self-starter skills to support the Cities, States and Regions team with the engagement of UK cities around environmental reporting and climate action. You will be involved in a variety of tasks to support the annual climate change reporting process for all UK cities. These tasks will range from engaging local authorities on the importance of measuring and managing environmental performance to providing high-quality support for local authorities through the development of materials, webinar and working groups and more.
About the Cities, States and Regions Team
We currently work with over 900 city and regional governments worldwide who use CDP’s system every year to report their progress on fighting climate change. Major universities, the UNFCCC, the World Bank, the IPCC, and many other organizations rely on CDP’s city data for research and decision-making.

This is a 9-month contract based at CDP’s London office reporting to the UK Cities Manager with a possibility to extend subject to resources.
Salary and benefits: £28,500 per annum, 30 days’ holiday excluding bank holidays, generous non-contributory pension provision, annual discretionary bonus (depending on company performance), Employee Assistance Programme, life assurance, Training and development, Flexible working opportunities and others.
