Job Purpose and Background
CDP is seeking an experienced financial analyst to join its multi-award-winning investor research team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 years' experience working within a financial markets related research role or a professional services firm, with a passion for ESG issues and integrating climate change and deforestation issues into the mainstream investment process.
About CDP's Investor Research team:
The investor research team produces sector specific, climate focused research for the investment community. Our analysis identifies transition risks and opportunities for companies in transitioning to a low-carbon economy based on climate (carbon, water and forests) metrics in a number of high-emitting sectors, which in aggregate could have a material impact on company earnings. The research aims to improve investor understanding and knowledge of CDP data and inform investor engagement with companies on climate-related issues. We are expanding our work to cover deforestation risk from Forest Risk Commodities.

This is a full-time role based on a two year fixed contract based at CDP's Central London office reporting to CDP's Head of Investor Research.
Salary and benefits: £48-53,000 per annum, annual discretionary bonus, 24 days' holiday (increasing to 30), generous non-contributory pension provision, life assurance, opportunity to work flexibly, and others.
