CDP is seeking an experienced financial analyst for its investor-focused research function. The position will be based in CDP’s London office.
CDP runs an annual disclosure process on behalf of 803 institutional investors with combined assets in excess of $100 trillion. Disclosing companies provide quantitative and qualitative information about their greenhouse gas emissions, water management, exposure to deforestation and strategic business approach to environmental risk.
The investor research team produces sector specific, climate focused research for the investment community. Our analysis identifies transition risks and opportunities for companies in transitioning to a low carbon economy based on climate (carbon and water) metrics in a number of high-emitting sectors, which in aggregate could have a material impact on company earnings. The research aims to improve investor understanding and knowledge of CDP data and inform investor engagement with companies on climate-related issues consistent with a 2-degree pathway to limit global warming.
The sectors covered by the research series are Transport, Electric Utilities, Materials, Metals & Mining, Oil & Gas, and Consumer Goods.

This a full time role in the CDP London office but successful applicants will need to travel nationally and internationally as required. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in the UK.
Benefits: £50-60,000 p.a., annual discretionary bonus, 24 days holiday (increasing to 30), non-contributory pension provision, life assurance and the opportunity to work flexibly.
