CDP is seeking a highly motivated research analyst to join its multi-award winning investor research team. The successful candidate will ideally have 2-3 years’ experience in an analytical role and a business or financial background/qualification with a passion for climate issues.
CDP runs an annual disclosure process on behalf of 803 institutional investors with combined assets in excess of $100 trillion. Disclosing companies provide quantitative and qualitative information about their greenhouse gas emissions, water management, exposure to deforestation and strategic business approach to environmental risk.
The investor research team produces sector specific, climate focused research for the investment community. Our analysis identifies transition risks and opportunities for companies in transitioning to a low carbon economy based on climate (carbon and water) metrics in a number of high-emitting sectors, which in aggregate could have a material impact on company earnings. The research aims to improve investor understanding and knowledge of CDP data and inform investor engagement with companies on climate-related issues,

This a full time role based in CDP’s London office. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in the UK.
Salary and Benefits: Up to £35-40,000 per annum, annual discretionary bonus, 24 days holiday (increasing to 30), generous non-contributory pension provision, life assurance and opportunity to work flexibly.
