Are you passionate about city climate action? Would you like to be at the heart of driving changes through environmental disclosure and support our engagement work with cities?
As a Project Officer for the Cities, States and Regions team you will have an understanding of local governments and climate change and have excellent organisational skills to encourage cities to participate in the WWF’s One Planet City Challenge (OPCC) initiative and to report their data to a high standard.
The successful candidate will be at the heart of the engagement work of the Cities, States and Regions team with a focus on coordinating activities with CDP’s global engagement teams to support city participation to the OPCC initiative. The role also involves project management within CDP to ensure the WWF partnership is executed effectively, as well as working in close collaboration with our partner WWF to ensure a smooth disclosure process for the OPCC.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support CDP’s work on the OPCC initiative.

The role is a full-time role based in CDP’s Central London Office (virtually at first) and sits within the Cities, States and Regions team, with a reporting line to the Associate Director, Operations. The successful candidate will be expected to work 5 days per week and may require the candidate to be willing to work flexible non-standard working hours. This is a fixed term seven-month contract, starting asap.
Salary and benefits: £25,000 - 27,500 GBP salary (pro-rated), flexible working, annual discretionary bonus, 30 days’ holiday, generous non-contributory pension provision, life assurance and others.
