CDP has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to ensure the operational disclosure support runs smoothly for the Cities, States and Regions (CStaR) team by delivering great customer service and data management.
This is an opportunity to contribute significantly to the vital work of CDP in encouraging cities and sub-national government reporting on sustainable resource use. It would be ideal for someone looking to move into a new career, coming back to the workforce or a recent graduate. Your ability to work with the rest of the team and provide an excellent level of friendly support is more important than educational background, but you must have a demonstrated desire to work for an environmental organisation. Over 570 city governments and 100 state and regional governments worldwide use CDP’s reporting system every year to report their progress on tackling climate change.
Based at CDP’s London office, the role will entail crucial operational activities to support cities and sub-national governments who disclose their sustainability data through CDP, responding to high volumes of incoming enquiries for sustained periods of time while maintaining data quality in our database. Distinct attention to detail, a proactive approach and a high level of organisation are fundamental to this role. No technical knowledge of the subject matter is required, but an interest in environmental issues is vital.

The Project Officer Role is based in CDP’s London office, 12 months fixed-term contract, full time role, starting January 2018 (with potential extension). The Project Officer will be line managed by the Operations Manager of the CStaR team.
