CDP Europe, one of the world’s leading climate change charities, is seeking a highly motivated individual to manage CDP’s partnerships and events work in continental Europe. In this varied role, part of CDP’s Global Partnerships team, you will accelerate our mission and lead the growth, development and delivery of CDP’s Accredited Solutions Provider program in Europe, manage a range of commercial and academic data partners, and coordinate our varied events to our stakeholders in Europe.
CDP’s Accredited Solutions Provider program connects our base of thousands of disclosing companies with the providers that can support their environmental measurement, management, and leadership efforts. Their services include verification, software, consultancy, renewable energy, science-based targets and more. The role includes:
- Account management of existing key corporate partner relationships and
data purchasers including, but not limited to, onboarding, optimizing
visibility, conducting webinars, and supporting technical inquiries;
- Achieve corporate partnership business development targets by renewing
existing solutions providers and securing new solutions providers via targeted
outreach;
- Develop an innovative strategy to grow CDP Europe’s range of
partnerships and data sales;
- Lead the delivery of CDP’s annual conference in coordination with teams across CDP;
- Represent CDP externally, including at CDP and at external events, including webinars;
- Organise and coordinate Europe-wide event activities, including the development of a strategic approach, securing sponsorships, growing new event formats and ensuring high-quality external outreach and development of marketing materials;
- Work with the CDP Corporate, Investor, and Cities, States and Regions teams, and the central Partnerships team, to develop approaches and offers to secure new, larger strategic partnerships;
- Creatively develop and refine presentations, brochures and marketing material about CDP’s partnership offers;
- Active coordination with other CDP teams to engage with stakeholders in an efficient and organised manner;
- Assisting with ad-hoc tasks as required.
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum BA/BSc degree; Masters preferred or relevant
experience;
- 3+ years’ work experience, ideally in the corporate
or investor sector, additional environmental NGO or corporate sustainability experience
is an advantage;
- Proven track record in organizing and coordinating large events;
- Strong account management experience, able to manage relationships responsibly, providing, value to partners while establishing clear boundaries and keeping focus on CDP’s overall strategy;
- Good public speaking skills and ability to interact with high-level representatives from private and public sectors;
- Keen interest in corporate sustainability themes and related company challenges;
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills and ability to work with teams in a multi-national setting;
- Ability to take the initiative, multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure;
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills;
- Attention to detail with good research, writing and drafting skills;
- Willingness to travel across continental Europe occasionally;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point) and CRM systems, and ability to learn new tools quickly - knowledge of CMS, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign;
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written), fluency in other European languages is an advantage.

The successful candidate will work five days per week and must be able to work legally in Germany. This full-time role is based at our office in Berlin, Germany, and will work closely with and report to the Partnerships team and Corporate Engagement team, and report to the Communications Manager, Europe.
