Grants and Compliance Manager, NA

Who you are

  • You have experience setting up and managing government grant compliance monitoring systems and developing and implementing relevant tools
  • You have excellent financial skills relating to budgeting and financial reporting
  • You are comfortable working remotely and with team members in different time zones
  • You have to ability to coordinate with other CDP entities across the globe

Your day-to-day

  • Interpret granting agency regulations and policies for the departments, monitor funded projects to prevent over-expenditure of funds, ineligible expenditures and ensure awards are fully expended.
  • Review policies and recommend changes as needed to maintain compliance with granting agencies requirements.
  • Assist in development of grant budgets.
  • Provide oversight of assigned grant portfolio, including review of proposals, award negotiation, compliance monitoring, administration, and closeout to ensure these are in line with donor requirements.
  • Negotiate, draft and issue new awards and amendments as requirement over the life of the assigned agreements and prepare other correspondence as necessary.
  • Identify training and tool needs on agreement management within the various teams, provide trainings as appropriate, and develop tools as needed.
  • Provide support on any financial/donor audits or internal reviews, and conduct desk top reviews of agreement deliverables and site visits, ensuring proper documentation and coordination as appropriate.
  • Serve as administrative contact for grants management, donor regulations, and required reporting.
  • Help with donor regulations on sourcing and procurement procedures for goods and services in addition to internal organizational procurement procedures, including partners.
  • Assist with projects related to personnel on-boarding, agreement compliance, sub-agreement activities, agreement templates, and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for compliance as to each CDP jurisdiction.
