About Technical Reporting Team:
The Reporting team provides a critical contribution to CDP’s mission. We develop CDP’s world leading questionnaires and guidance for organizations reporting environmental information to investors and other data users.
The internship programme:
To apply for the programme you must live in London or a reasonable commuting distance
from our London office, which is located centrally.
All our volunteer interns will be assigned to a volunteer intern supervisor and will receive an induction, on-the-job training, coaching and one-to-one support. On successful completion of their placement, volunteer interns can request a reference.
Interns will get an insight into how an international environmental NGO operates with the opportunity to attend meetings and ask questions.
Role Purpose and Background:
The technical reporting intern requires outstanding attention to detail. This individual will support the successful delivery of questionnaires and guidance materials that will drive the largest corporations globally to disclose information and advance on their environmental stewardship journey. Assignments will cover all CDP’s questionnaires, including climate change, forests, and water. They will allow the intern to develop a good understanding of corporate environmental reporting and emerging practices, and to position themselves for a potential full-time role at CDP or another environmental NGO.

Expenses
This is not a salaried position. We will cover your day-to-day travel and lunch expenses in line with our expenses policy. Lunch expenses will only be provided on days where over 3.5 hours volunteering have been completed.
