Internship – Finance & Administration Team CDP Europe

Location: Berlin, Germany

CDP Europe, one of the world’s leading climate change charities, is seeking a highly motivated individual to support CDP’s Finance & Administration team in Europe.

About Finance & Administration: We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive and diligent intern to join CDP Europe’s Finance & Administration team. This position is an exciting opportunity to take over several financial accounting tasks.

The role includes:

  • Support finance day-to-day activities;
  • Assist with communication and administration of vendors and debtors;
  • Support in filing and collecting travel claims, timesheets and similar records;
  • Support in collecting statistics and evidence for reports to donors;
  • Provide finance related research and administrative support as required;
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks as required.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Enrolled student in a bachelor or master’s program at a German university;
  • Must be a mandatory internship within your studies (Pflichtpraktikum);
  • Strong interpersonal and creative problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and precisely under pressure, be proactive and set priorities;
  • Demonstrates a high level of dedication, flexibility and resilience;
  • Good command of spoken and written German and English;
  • Detail-oriented attitude, combined with a structured and analytical working style;
  • Ability to work independently as well as to deal with interfaces;
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (esp. Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
  • Frist experiences with accounting systems (DATEV) are a plus.

What we offer:

  • 7,5 vacation days for the internship period of three months;

The position is open only for candidates enrolled at a German University. The successful candidate will work five days per week in our Berlin office and must be able to work legally in Germany. The internship will last for a maximum period of three months. The intern will work with and report to the respective Finance Manager.
